Driving Simulator - HFC Drive Observericon automotive

We are offering a unique driving simulation for testing visuo-spatial orienting of attention and driver work load, called “Drive Observer”. With this simulator, one can test and optimize advanced driver assistance systems as well as installations or situations  in the vehicle surrounding, like traffic lights, signage and special kinds of traffic situations. Of utmost importance for this endeavor is the visualization of a typical European city and its surroundings.

The detailed analysis of the visuo-spatial orienting of attention over the course of time is enabled by the integration of an eye-tracking system.

With the help of an easy-to-handle event editor, specific situations can be purposefully created, for example sudden lane changes by other vehicles, pedestrians stepping on the road, fire engines on the way to an operation, traffic  jams etc.  All events can be created and modified online from a supervisor workplace at run time.
